Test Series for IAS 2013
Alternative Learning System, Delhi the most trusted name for IAS coaching has now introduced online Test Series for IAS 2013. The comprehensive Test Series based on the new pattern of the Civil Services Prelims Exam will be a litmus test to check your preparation levels. The date of commencement of the Test Series is 2nd December 2012. From 2nd December onwards on every Sunday a Test would be uploaded on the website for the aspirants upto next 24 weeks. These Tests will remain on the website from the scheduled date (Please see the Test Schedule for the details) till the date of I.A.S Prelims-2013. It is not mandatory to give the test on the same date and aspirants can choose any suitable day and time to give these Tests. Those aspirants, who will join the Test Series after 2nd December, shall also have the access to all the Tests.
About IAS All India Test Series
LEVEL-1: FOUNDATION
This foundation Test Series is designed to test the foundations of your preparation. It consists of ten tests, six on G.S. and four on CSAT. It is designed to make oneself stronger in the fundamental of various aspects of General Studies and CSAT required for the IAS Preliminary Examination 2013. This course has especially been designed keeping in mind the needs of beginners who have not studied various aspects of General Studies and CSAT as a part of the curriculum beyond the Secondary School. Here the participants need to prepare for the test based on the books prescribed by the course co-coordinator. This course thus helps them build stronger foundation and attain the skills needed to master the prelims.
LEVEL- 2: ADVANCED
The advanced level of this Test Series involves ten tests, six on G.S. and four on CSAT. It is a comprehensive programme for IAS Preliminary Examination 2013. This course has especially been designed keeping in mind the needs of advanced learners who already have gone through the syllabus once. Analyzing the pattern of previous years’ questions could reveal that a deeper understanding of various subjects is needed to crack Preliminary Examination. The full proof preparation could be done only with constant practice and updation. The course will thus help you in providing an opportunity for practice, updating and deepening your knowledge in the concerned subjects and will improve the relevance of your efforts needed for the competition.
Simulated Tests
These four Tests have been specifically designed keeping in mind the exact pattern of the preliminary examination. These tests will provide hands on experience and finally prepare you for taking up the preliminary examination.
Test Result and Cut off Analysis
The score of every test would be available immediately after submitting the respective Online Test. The result and feedback would incorporate following features:
- Software generated score of the online Test.
- Correct answer to each question of the Test.
- The answers marked by the aspirants (along with the correct answers).
- Detailed explanations to the Test questions.
- After about 7 days, the Cut Off analysis of each Test would be published on the website based upon the Difficulty Level Assessment (DLA) of the Test and the Performance Matrix (PM) of the aspirants who have appeared for the Test from across the country.

- The Username and Password for the Test Series would get activated within 24 hours after making payment.
- The tests could be given anytime by the Aspirants after the date and time scheduled.
- While filling the details for the online payment, kindly make sure that you mention correct e-mail ID and contact number. All the correspondence regarding the Test Series would take place on the e-mail ID provided by you while making payment.
