Initiatives like the Udyog Aadhaar Memorandum (UAM) and the MSME Samadhaan portal, which streamline registration and grievance redressal processes, are steps in the right direction.
4. Promoting Technology Adoption: Encouraging MSMEs to adopt modern technology and digital tools is essential for enhancing their competitiveness. Government programs like the Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (TUFS) and Digital MSME Scheme provide financial assistance and support for technology adoption and digital transformation.
5. Enhancing Market Access: Facilitating market access through e-commerce platforms, trade fairs, and export promotion councils can help MSMEs expand their customer base. Initiatives like the MSME Export Promotion Council and the Amazon Karigar program, which brings traditional artisans and small businesses online, are examples of how market access can be enhanced.
