🏆 UPSC 2025 Results: Unveiling the Truth Behind Multiple Coaching Claims

The results of the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 are out, and we proudly extend our warmest congratulations to Shakti Dubey, who has secured All India Rank 1 — a truly commendable achievement.
We also applaud every aspirant who has successfully cleared the exam this year. Your hard work and perseverance deserve celebration!
Every year, a peculiar race begins almost immediately after results are announced: multiple coaching institutes claiming the same topper as their student.
This year is no different. From Delhi to Allahabad, leading names like Vajiram & Ravi, Drishti IAS, Vision IAS, and others have begun asserting that Shakti Dubey was mentored, trained, or guided by them.
But how is it possible for one candidate to have been a full-time student at five to six different institutions?
Let’s set the record straight.
Yes, a candidate may:
- Attend a classroom program at one institute
- Enroll in a test series at another
- Take optional subject guidance elsewhere
- Join a different center for interview prep
However, this fragmented engagement doesn’t justify every institute claiming full credit.
Far too often, aspirants who have merely taken a single mock interview or attended a webinar find their photos splashed across marketing banners as “Our Classroom Student.”
This misleading branding confuses aspirants, misinforms parents, and distorts the actual mentorship that contributed to the candidate’s success.
In the last two years, some institutes have been penalized for unethical advertisements and misleading representation of results — a much-needed intervention in an otherwise unregulated marketing space.
The message is clear: Honesty in advertising is non-negotiable.
If you’re a future UPSC aspirant or a parent looking for the best coaching guidance, here are six critical steps to help you make an informed decision:
✅ 1. Verify All Claims
Don’t fall for flashy banners.
Check for real proof: testimonial videos, topper talks, and mentions in official interviews.
✅ 2. Know the Type of Association
Was it a full-course enrollment or just one test?
Understanding this can save you from falling for exaggerated claims.
✅ 3. Look at Consistent Results
One AIR-1 doesn’t make a coaching brand.
Check their track record — how many students consistently rank in the top 100 or 500?
✅ 4. Attend Demos & Talk to Alumni
Get a feel of the classroom experience.
Speak with ex-students and ask about faculty, notes, doubt clearing, and support.
✅ 5. Avoid Overhyped Promises
“100% success rate” or “Guaranteed selection” is a red flag.
Real coaching supports, guides, and mentors — it can’t promise outcomes.
✅ 6. Trust Your Judgment
Choose what suits your learning style and needs.
Don’t blindly follow trends or toppers.
While coaching institutes can play an important supporting role, the credit for UPSC success always belongs to the aspirant. It’s high time the industry acknowledges that, and stops treating success as a marketing gimmick.
We believe in transparency, honesty, and student-centric mentorship.
Our list of successful candidates from the 2025 UPSC batch will be released only after proper verification, and not based on marketing urgency.
Until then, we encourage aspirants to celebrate their journey — and stay cautious of misleading noise.
